Being Amazing with AmazingNutella

fristo: AmazingNutella, the way I know them, is a perfect example of Kindness with Boundaries. Each time the kind words flow out of them, it floods the receivers’ hearts. But what is even more remarkable about them is their systematic and consistent progress with their leadership roles on 7cups. They are one of the most selfless leaders who lead but as a servant leader. Above all, they lead by example!

Q1) Going back to the time when you had first discovered 7cups and started as a listener, would you like to share how your 7cups journey started?

nutella: My 7 Cups journey started as a member years ago. I remember being here for a day as a member and returning with tons of gratitude in my heart. This gratitude was so strong that one fine day in July of 2018, I felt drawn to extend my support after years of being away from 7 Cups. And here I am today and I couldn’t be more grateful for this community we have 💜

Q2) What have you enjoyed and relished the most in your cups journey so far?

nutella: The learning experience. The things 7 Cups taught me are so diverse! I got the chance to understand that listening is no less of an art. Then when I moved into group support, I picked up on the importance of imparting support in a group setting. Finally when my leadership journey started, I got my best lessons of maintaining healthy boundaries and teamwork. And this learning continues for me. I have something new to learn everyday here on 7 Cups and I enjoy this the most 💜

Q3) In what ways have 7cups influenced your offline personality? Conversely, what role has your offline life played in your work at 7cups?

nutella: I do have a background of an extremely stressful work environment, so it requires me to be patient a lot. 7 Cups, in a way, has polished my patience and has taught me that I can be calm and patient no matter what situation arises. Thanks to my profession, I happen to be an organised person with decent retention powers, that helps me manage things here on 7 Cups as a listener and a leader more efficiently!

Q4) Would you like to share your key learnings in your 7cups leadership journey so far?

nutella: Ah, this is a great question! I’ve learnt a lot from my leadership journey so far here, but at the top of my list is the realization that a leader is nothing without their team. I’ve had people thank me for a lot of things here but I say I’m nothing without my team. My team makes me 💜

Q5) What would you say is your life’s purpose, and how far have you come in fulfilling that purpose?

nutella: I harbour gratitude, a lot of it, for everyone and everything I have in my life. I’m always thankful to the world around me for giving me a chance to stand where I am today. So that completely concentrates my life purpose down to giving back to this world in any way I can 💜 And I’m again very grateful that I’ve been able to achieve a part of it but I still have a very long way ahead!

Q6) What are some of the best things that ever happened to you in your life so far?

nutella: Quite a few things! Leading my charts would be the fact that I got to pursue the profession I’ve always wanted to be in. That is the best thing ever to me! I’ve also come across many amazing people in my life. Lost some on the way, but I’m grateful to have known them all 💜 And of course, 7 Cups, the very platform that has taught me so much!

Q7) If you were your best friend (which I am sure you are, or try to be), what suggestions would you give to yourself for being an even better version of yourself?

nutella: Oh, this one got me thinking hard! Not something I’m proud of, but I often lose sight of the concept of “Flowing easy”. I tend to schedule everything and treat it as work.. So I nudge myself sometimes, “Hey! Psst! Let loose, will ya?” haha! So I believe I’d tell myself to just step back and take it easy sometimes 💜
