Peer Appreciation Program~ A journey
Interviewer: @Sunisshiningandsoareyou
Interviewee: Peer Appreciation Program
Sun: Hello beloved community, we gather here to interview one of the most popular, and of course super cherished program in 7cups, aka Peer Appreciation Program, on the occasion of its one year anniversary coming up, we thought we should know how and where did it all began, and to seek inspiration from the program itself about its journey in 7 cups.
(Going forward Peer Appreciation Program will be referred to either PAP or program, for convenience)
*greets courteously*
Hello dear PAP, it's an honor to have this conversation with you, and hear your thoughts. Thankyou for making some time for us, we know you are pretty busy spreading smiles in the community hehe. 😛
Without further adieu, let's dig right in!
Okay PAP, we are told to live in the moment but sometimes it's important we are informed about the past too, so what's your history? How and when did you come into existence?
There are qualities in you, qualities in me, if we develop an eye for the good qualities in one another, the scope of growth in each of us expands! The world needs mutual growth, peace, harmony, delight and satisfaction. To inspire these feelings, I came into existence.
What were your expectations then?
I wanted to develop an appreciation culture in the community, where the default nature of anyone would be to see and appreciate the good in the other. We have had this culture in our community, and to make this culture spread its wings further, I manifested as the Peer Appreciation Program. A few of us would know, and I hope many more of us would come to know, that I also manifested in another form called Living with Leaders: the interviews that aim to make people think about their learnings, explore the best in themselves, and ultimately learn from one another and grow together. Give a self-interview today.
We know it isn't easy to tackle life haha, #adulting is sometimes not recommended :p How about you though, what motivated you to keep growing?
When I saw what I was doing was working, I felt motivated to work more. From the people who fill out the appreciation form to the ones who post the appreciation, and then again those who read and reply to the appreciation posts, feel a sweetness and delight that help them feel better about themselves, about one another, and about their life.
Now that you've grown so much and have received so much love from the community, what according to you, are the pillars of your being, your foundations, that help you to continue flourishing?
Consistency. Regularity. If you want your life to feel fragrant, if you want your sorrows to heal more and more with the passing days, you need to do some positive act consistently, daily, regularly. The peer appreciation team members and leaders come back to me and participate in the program. They feed me, nurture me, love me, and help me grow for the growth of the community. Their ‘coming back’ to me is my foundation that helps me to continue flourishing.
Do you have any goals, dreams for this new year you're stepping into? What are they?
I want to reach every nook and corner of the 7cups system, so that we may help one another fill all our 7 cups. There’s only one and only one way to peace and harmony in the world, and that is, developing an eye for the good in one another; developing an eye for the beauty in oneself, in the surrounding, situations, and in those around.

I loved this sneak peek in the life of the distinguished program i.e., PAP. The replies are full of deep love amd care for our community and PAT team.
I wonder if PAP were a hooman, it'd have all the qualities which we always want to have within ourselves. In other words PAP is still a fairest blossom of our community and the PAT team along with appreciators keeps adding more beauty to it.
For a flower to bloom, we need to think of the soil, the manure, the water and the sunlight. And I see the team contributing all these things to make the flower bloom 🌸
Dear PAP,
That melted my heart ♥️ Thank you so much for your kind words and you its my wish to see you keep growing abundantly. I'll be a part of this program as long as possible and I will keep spreading the things I have learnt from this program in real life as well. 💕
