When I first came to 7 Cups, I didn't know how to feel about it. Sure it was a therapy website/app, but what did it actually do for people? What was the purpose it served?

I've discovered my answer. 7 Cups is where people come not to be pitied, but to discover a companion. They do not want to be looked down on because of their burden, but they do not want to stumble upon a person that ignores it either. They want a person that embraces them for who they are, a person that knows all their mistakes and problems, acknowledges them, and shares their own mistakes and problems. They want someone that understands. And in that way, 7 Cups isn't made for just the members and guests that come here. No, it's made for the listeners too.

The world needs more of listeners and less of talkers. Half the problems of the world would be solved if only people cared to just sit down and listen, not for the sake of replying but for the sake of listening alone, to what others have to say. This is exactly what the motive of 7cups is. As a listener in 7cups, many a time, I wouldn't be able to advise or give suggestions to the people who approach me. But just the thought that someone out there is listening to their problems alone make them feel much better.

I'm always thankful for 7cups for providing me with a better perspective about life and about people.

I love 7 Cups so much, because it lets me get my feelings out. I would probably not be here if it weren't for 7 Cups. Everyone is so nice and accepting, and I love it here so much. If this were a place, I would want to live there.

Through my 2 year journey on 7 cups it has taught me so much. I first came here feeling alone, ashamed, broken, and lost. The listener I first talked to changed my life, made me realize that I am enough just the way I am. They inspired me to be a listener myself. 7 cups connects people from all over the world, to support each other, everyone here has their own story, and their own battles, which is what connects us all. You never feel alone, or ashamed here, its a place to come and vent when you need to, or go to group chat for a good laugh. I have met so many amazing people here, that have became great friends. Its incredible as well how many people volunteer their time to help others, even when they are struggling thereself. 7 cups has had a huge impact in my life, I love feeling apart of something as well as helping others.. theres nothing better than hearing I dont know what I would have done without you.
