Ermahgerd, I've always wanted to make a Yule log cake. Some people make little fondant mushrooms with them and other stuff- they turn out beautifully! ...but...I kinda suck at decorating. XD So I dunno. Maybe one year I shall give it a go.
Typically here, I have to make my famous chocolate chip recipes that I've perfected over the years.
I don't typically care for my cookies, but they are well loved. I'm more of a cheesecake/pie type of a gal. Chocolate peanut butter pie. X_X; I had one at a famous pie shop in Seattle on Halloween. IT WAS DIVINE. Everything about it was perfect. The ingredients, the decoration, the texture...I could go on. Anyway, suffice it to say. The stuff is rich and requires a certain kind of balance but is not too difficult to make.
Oh yes. And foreign candies.

It's a real special one for me really. My father died about 15 years ago at Christmas and his thing was trifle. Every Christmas, I make a trifle for family which is in remembrance of both of my parents really.
