International Volunteers Day: I volunteer because...

i volunteer here because i love helping people, i've been through a lot myself and with the skills i've learned from this site, i believe i can truly help someone feel better by speaking with them and empathizing with the situation they're in.

Regardless of how little may have I know that it is so much more than others have. I want to give back.

I volunteer because when I needed some support I can to 7cups. I first joined 7cups as a member, that was a few years ago. It was very nice to have somebody to talk to and I wanted to provide that experience for others you feel as if they don't have somebody there for them always. I'm not all that well at explaining, if I was to fully explain this would turn into an essay :) I really love helping people, even if it just makes their day a little bit better. I volunteer because I have cared, have been cared for, and will always continue to care for each and every single on of you lovely people in the 7cups community. <3 Sorry if this came out love :o

I volunteer because every bit of help counts. Most of us are fortunate enough to have people to talk to, or ways to deal with a mess. Many don't. And i don't wanna leave any door without atleast knocking. Not under my watch.

I volunteer because it feels good!

I volunteer to make a difference.

I volunteer to help others in need.

I volunteer to improve myself and change.

I volunteer to prove that I am worthwhile.

I volunteer to leave a legacy.

I volunteer because I care.

@Kate I volunteer, because, "This is the Least what I can do to other Living Beings in my due capacities."

For me it is time to pay back since I have got many positive things from life and I consider this is my turn to give back.

This is my passion. I love to give to others and I do get so much back in return. There is one thing I always say, it doesn't take having money to have a big heart and give your time to help someone else!
