It's Party time!!!! Nearly :) 7cups 5th Birthday celebrations
This year, 7cups turns five years old. July 7th 2018 sees a special birthday that cannot go by without a huge party and celebration.
Many of you are already planning to hold events to celebrate the 5th birthday of cups. To help with that process, weve set up a spreadsheet for you all to add your events to, so that everyone knows whos doing what, where and when.
What wed love to see is communities holding events together, celebrating a huge milestone for 7cups collectively, inviting other communities to join them in a massive party. Though 7cups turns five on July 7th, celebrations will be held throughout the week of July 1st-7th.
You will see on the spreadsheet there are a number of events currently just waiting for people to grab them and take the opportunity of running these and this could be you!!! If you see an event that has already been taken by another community but you would also like to run this event, approach the leader of that community about co running the event, the more the merrier :)
With the amount of different people, non/sub-communities, and teams on 7cups, lets stay organized together, so that all of our events can be sign-posted together on a masterpost for our listeners and members. Please fill out the spreadsheet below, detailing your event, person responsible, when you plan to hold your event, where, the time etc so that we all know where to pop in to celebrate this huge milestone together!
Nearer the time of 7cups fifth birthday the final spreadsheet listing all the celebrations taking place will be posted up for everyone to enjoy during the party celebrations. Thanks to everyone and look forward to seeing your ideas and events coming to fruition

@BeckyisHere 5yrs a is a long time and such a huge milestone is the making and history we hope of 7cups!!! And so we hope everyone will get involved and celebrate in some way the huge achievement!!
How can you party? You can't even contact anyone on here. 
@CantStepOut Oh there's plenty of ways to party step, through our forums., group support rooms, feeds etc and our members and listeners have come up with ingenious ways previously to make sure special occasions and events held have involved everybody :) There may be safety rules about not having contact with people outside of cups but there are plenty of ways to celebrate with others online
@Rain45, Cant wait to spend the time partying and enjoying the days up to the 7th and then spend that day just relax and just have fun

Yeah more partying. Those of us in the US will also be celebrating July 4th with fireworks for our holiday.
@DanaMH ooohhh maybe someone in the US could hold a fireworks party for cups, and video it, now theres an idea but safety at all times

Awesome idea. I would volunteer but I have no idea if there will be internet service where we are going to be since we are still trying to figure that one out still. Most of the places we are thinking about I know won't have service.

Awww it's a shame I can't join in :( because when it's 5 PM there, it's 5 AM here and I'm not a fan of waking up early
@EmikoKokoro Hey Emiko, all the events can be held all day, at whatever time members, or listeners and communities wish to hold them so there may be an opportunity if you speak to your community leader for you to get involved in an event that would work for your time zone
