Book Recommendation
Hello!
I just recently go back into reading after years. Anyone can give me recommendations? Fictional preferably :)
@moondust17 Do you have a kindle or e-reader? There are lots of free books to choose from.
Listening - One Step At A Time!
@moondust17. The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns. Both are written by Khaled Hosseini. Trigger Warning some difficult subject matter in these books.
'Red wolf white rabbit' by Tom Pollock
@moondust17
The Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden (Historical fantasy set in medieval Russia; a young girl learns the blessings and curses of being a witch while caught up in both the war for Russia defending against the Tatars and the war for the pagan gods being pushed out by Christianity)
The Ice Princess by Camilla Läckberg (Nordic noir set in 2000s Sweden; a grown woman comes back to her hometown after a family tragedy to discover the death of her childhood friend and what seems to have led to her demise)
The Ballerinas by Rachel Kapelke-Dale (Feminist drama set in late 2010s with flashbacks to 1990s; a ballerina in her thirties learns to come to terms with her past and how her life as a ballerina influenced her present)
I should warn you that triggers come with all of these books, but if I specified what they were, they’d risk spoiling the plot. Proceed at your own risk, and I hope you enjoy them. :)
Six of crows is a great fantasy ! It’s about a heist
red Queen is also great ! It’s about undiscovered powers
The cruel prince! It’s about fairy’s and politics
The Raven boys ! It’s about folklore and relationships
Happy reading !! 💙💙
