Jane Eyre

I just finished reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. It was beautifully written. Has anyone here read it?

I found Mr Rochester to be selfish all through and even in his perception of being punished by Nature through blindness I feel he remains selfish in seeking Jane for himself.

@Creamyyy I have not actually read this book. I know it is a classic, but I have trouble with the old Birtish English kind of language.

I, on the contrary, love that language. It seems refined and proper.

@Creamyyy Yes, I felt very bad for Jane. I thought she deserved better in life.
