have you ever tried “the exodentary colours of Auden Dare”? Quite the good book! It is about a kid that is colorblind and lives with his mom as his dad went to a war. There are water wars, and it is dystopian. I am reading it and I recommend you! Hope you will like it if you read it :3

I might get thrashed for this but Colleen Hoover books have done the job for me every single time. I find her books to be fast-paced and engaging although not always meaningful. It helps me stay on my toes and build up my forgotten reading habit.
Alternatively, I also love Alex Michaelides. His writing is phenomenal. I'm also a fan of his setting and plot description. The twists and turns are unexpected. They keep you hooked until the very end. The Silent Patient, The Maidens, and The Fury are all my absolute favourites.
Both these authors have helped me overcome my reading slump.
