Horror is my go to genre.

But favorite book? I could never pick one favorite. I love so many. But I suppose Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury should get significant credit since I have a tattoo inspired by it.

Ohhh nice! Such a classic. I thought about that book the other day and want to read it again. Some of those resonate much more profoundly now that I'm in my 30s than when I first read them as a youngster.

Highly recommend a reread in your 30s. Especially now. It's gonna hit way different.

Yeah to some. Books don't really scare me. I just enjoy horror. Movies though... depending on what one the lights stay on for 2 weeks. 😂

I loved the movies and some day I want to read the series, great plots and characters judging from the movies alone!

I recently got a kindle and I'm excited to start reading more books that aren't audiobooks. I love my audiobooks, but I think I benefit from learning to focus better when I read a "real book" (even though it's on Kindle haha).

I think my favorite genre would be "Literary Fiction", the classics basically and anything contemporary that has really stood out. That said, however, I would have to say I read spirituality books the most, and self-help type books.

I recently finished reading "Consorting With Spirits" which was interesting, and I am in the process of picking my next fiction audiobook. I am leaning toward "The Remains of the Day", or another book by the same author.

Thank you for the thread! I always love seeing what people are into :)

Hey @sirenAngel ! 👋^^

I'm really into crime/thriller based genre and fiction books that are sad or otherwise talk about mental health, for example Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow (WHICH IS TRULY AMAZING, I HIGLY RECOMMEND IT!!) At the moment I'm about to finish As Good As Dead by Holly Jackson (which is the third and last book of the

A Good Girl's Guide To Murder saga)

. If I had to make a sort of podium of my favorite books, in first place I'd put Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow, in second place the entire saga of A Good Girl's Guide To Murder by Holly Jackson, and in third place You'd Be Home Now by Kathleen Glasgow. 💙💚🧡

Hi oh i love the mystery-crime-love-story genres. I like how the investigation goes and guessing who's the bad guy in the story. But I prefer that the main character is a woman. Strong woman who is independent. I read Heather Graham, Irish Johansen and other more authors I forgot the name hehe.

I like also some fantasy, witch, un explained novels like the books of Stephen King.
