Finding me

I've been writing a lot this past month. And I'm happy because I'm having some creative energy after a period of stagnation....

And it's a little bit frustrating because sometimes when I'm writing I get carried away by who others want to see me as verses my authentic voice. The kind of social undoing we all have to do. And it reflects in the writing.

I don't know if it takes me to publishing or not... but interestingly I don't even want that as badly as I did before... i just want to find me. I want to choose words that are truly my spark and not the result of the damage I've had... it's quite interesting how the process of writing and filtering out things ... can connect you so deeply to yourself....
