Hi T,  I saw the start of your post here and came to read the rest of it... but this one seems to have ended just as quickly as it began. 

My name here at 7cups is well, technically, "cyanPlatypus6370."  But most everyone just calls me Platy :)  I live in USA in the Central Time zone - so I am almost 100% positive I'm the only one like me around!  [My guess is no other platypuses for thousands of miles!]  I do like to write, too; I have not published anything (yet).  That is unless you count online!  I have many posts even just here at 7cups!  Most of my writing is in journal form.  I have started some short stories here and there.  Those are mostly allegorical and loosely based on my own experiences.  Or sometimes *directly* based on my personal experiences!

You wrote here: "... writing because it saved my life many years ago."  My question is, would you please explain further?  If you are comfortable, I would love to hear more about how writing saved your life.
