While physically things are a thing of the past (well mostly anyway) and while both physical books and e-books have their own pros and cons to them I’d generally take a physical book over an e-book. Physical books give my eyes (and ears if audio books were included) a well deserved break and reading (certain) physical books before I sleep has been good for me

Í split my reading time between hardback/paperback books and e-books. I love the feel of a real book and the physical process of turning the pages and feeling the paper. I enjoy traveling to used bookstore and sales, and have an "anti-library" large enough to anger my wife.
I also have 4000+ Kindle books, plus audiobooks on Audible and Chirp (which I prefer to Audible). I also collect a lot of e-ARCs. My cup runneth over. Thank heavens for Calibre.
@jesusredeemedme2425 E-books are affordable and easy to get, even tho we can get the new release book too but nothing and I'm saying nothing can beat physical ones, it's an emotion!!

@jesusredeemedme2425 , like @Gargi07 said there are great sources out there of high quality e-books --- BookBub, Freebooksy and Early Bird Books are the lists I use. Don't forget Booksweeps, either.

Physical all the way! I can’t focus on e-books. And there’s just something about holding a book, seeing the physical progress as you read. And then putting it on the shelf when you’re done is like putting a trophy on the shelf!

For me personally physical books
@jesusredeemedme2425 i will always prefer physical books cuz it feels like the story is really in your hands (both literally and metaphorically) and is nice to have pages and it’s more fun. however, e-books are very convenient especially if local libraries don’t have the book available but it is online. so they both serve different purposes but i’ll prefer a physical copy over an e-book anytime!
