i like stoics, but the more I gauge and weigh not their words but their deeds, I’d rather be more fine tune with Buddhist and Biblical fundamentals and practices.
For yes, Epicurus, Seneca, Solon, Aristotle, Plato ect and the Roman troupes actions and deeds spoke other wise. They were barbaric, perverted and in some case wicked. They do not stack up against the bibilical teachings, this is evident with Paul, who contended with stoics and epicureans, and for him to convert them, had a blow into the entrance of Europe that converted countless of people to a better life.
Still not over yet, we will know only on the returning of Christ. Which even Muhammad and Muslims acknowledge.
id say worth the wait. Or even better, not only prep for it, but look if the signs point to his soon arrival. But for me, although I have gratitude for stoics, I’d stick with modern business men. Yesert.

Well - I was talking with a muslim women - about Jesus Christ who died and rose from the ded. Her belief was that he did not raise from the tomb, it was another person similar to Jesus who was walking on the earth.

Im not to say that Muslims are 100% right, just that it is possible, how would we know as we do not speak Hebrew or Aramaic if KJV either translated it correctly, or edited some stuff out for personal gain, as we all know their is 77 different versions of the Bible, why so much alterations in just the same language? While the Quran is concise down to only 2-3 based on the quriats and translators, if all imams in various mosques in just Sunni and Shia, agree those are correctly translated, than repetitiveness or pushes forward more perfection in actually following them, like king David said…

why thence is Muslims majoritily united with only two subsections? And yet with christianity, you have Coptic, Baptist, Orthadox, Protestant, Rastafarian, Mormon, and more, seems more divided than Muslims, many profess Jesus, but not the prophets, or even lack knowledge of their laws, for remember their laws was given by God, so shouldn’t they be just as honored as much as Jesus? This is the basis of what Muslims say, you cannot discount all the prophets and out all the weight in one basket, especially if one is not practicing what he asks.

Now to a average christian the answer is yes, abundantly, not even trying to fast away from it, so if you are not fasting away from it, you are going away from Jesus. Words means little, action, deeds and conduct are in their own realms. Jeusus talks about the parables of the two sons, to me I look at Christian’s and Muslims as brothers and sisters, but the parables of the two sons showed the father told one son to do his chores, and said he would, but didn’t, and the other son was told by the father, to do his chores and he refused, but when the father left, he did his chores anyway. So this is how I gauge believers from non believers, sometimes even with Christian’s and Muslims apart, some Christ followers who quick to bring up their grace and salvation, yet they turn aside immediately back to their sin and disregard Jesuses teachings, Jesuses statues and commandments, not John, Matthew, or Paul, or Judith, but Jesuses, while with Muslims, who don’t profess he is God, don’t profess he is son of God, are doing what Jesus is asking, not eating the pig, being circumcised, tithing, praying 5 times a day ect. So we can all see the signs of who Jesus is talking about when he mentions the parables of the two sons. It’s disheartening but it’s true. The people who say they want Jesus as God are doing less of what Jesus asked compared to people who merely have him as a prophet, or messenger of God, yet are giving vow’t practicing what Jesus asked.
Thats why I owe it to Jesus and to Muhammad to practice what they ask.

In short, our brethren Bob marley summed up what I just wrote out about my faith, Christian’s who want to demand Jesus is God, or trinity, or son of god or christ or any other such title…
The same will be for those who profess Jesus as lord and savior, I’d be a damn liar if I said I was following him, based on his parables and scripture spoken to his disciples.
For i struggle with scripture, and what both what the prophets asked and even so what he asked. Never mind Muslims, just the Bible alone is difficult to hold steadfast too, let alone the biblical divide of the books and it’s versions, thats why for me, if there is such a thing as salvation and grace, I will pray that it’s true. But I know that grace doesnt cancel law. It gives us a reason to obey it.

You're right - muslims don't see Jesus Christ as God and yes, muslims are divided in shia and sunni - but they don't live peacefully by each other at all. Many Christians meet over the different groups and try to live together.

i try not to buy into the media too much, especially the usas media which is too diverse.
They will only report the bad and not the good. God is about progress, in the Old Testament I rarely read too much about heaven other than Enoch and Elijah, so the fact that the old testament in both productivity and producing, was enough for the New Testament to have many talk about heaven, as if more people will go.
Same with Muslims, Jannah/heaven is mentioned even more by Muhammad, so people on this planet seems to be getting ready for its next leap. To me, why would God stop at Jesus? Or his disciples in terms of teachings and prophetic messages, God is about progress. We already are going into so much technology, terraforming and growing, i dont think it would stop even with Muhammad or the likes of Mormonism’s Smith.
But it’s a fight worth seeing. As long as we keep following scripture to the best of our capabilities.

If Jim rhon a perpetrator of the Bible also says Jesus never said he was God and from what I read so far, he never said it, I believe Jim whole heartedly, Jim was a practitioner of the Bible more than a million or even billion people who want to believe one liners, the very fact that both the three most reliable sources of the Biblical readings done extensively, the KJV, the Ethiopian orthodox bible and the quran. None of them said this, even in a scientific realm of etymology, you couldn’t hold a candle to the original writings that were botched by Greeks and Latin to English. Europe has more languages than any other race on earth, French, German, Italian, Swedish, danish, spanish and more, yet Jesus spoke none of these languages, he spoke Aramaic and Hebrew, does those versions mentions even once that Jesus is the son of God? Not once.
imam Deedat explains that empirically when he debated Christian’s, when Muslims come forth and bring their consensus of the word, they have arabic which stems from the brother sister of aramaic language, they hold but only a few reiterations at most 2-3, which all imams kept passed down consistently. The fact that he highlights the English bible has been changed into 70 different versions, all still in English alone, with various changing of words, mixing books and also adding words. Son of God is merely a title, christ means anointed one, many things in Jewish traditions, Greeks and arabic are used for anointed, a pillar Can be called Christ, a bowl Christ, and so forth. So you look towards mere headliners to make you feel closer to God. I look at the deeds the prophets and Jesus asked.
I am not caring for the political side about it, but I am just as weary, heedful and afraid like Bob marly said in that statement, of people who claim he was this or that, compared to spreading his message, you say he’s your savior, but are you following his statues? You say he’s your lord, are you doing any of his commandments? You say he is your god, are you following any of his laws? Procuring Jesus as God would make him in line no different than any other pagan or deity around, no different than shiva, a god in human flesh, no different than zeus, a god in human flesh, no different than Odin a god in human flesh. I am comfortable to know that when it is time to meet all the prophets including both Jesus and Muhammad, that Jesus will alike me to the parable of the two sons, where he will congratulate me for doing something he asked, and followed him, not boast or brag or blasphemy him, I will get my next holy scripture from only those 3 sources.
Because words mean nothing to God, it is action, deeds and conduct. He doesn’t read our words but our hearts. I can rest assured when my heart finds him, I will know it. Until than, I will do what he asked and follow through.
