Pirate Captain chive
Prompt was: Pirates and blue cheese.
----------------
In the age of sail, pirates roamed the sea.
Creating stories and legends almost endlessly.
This is the tale of one such dreadful crew.
Pirate Captain Chive and her blue crew.
Chive and her crew were as ruthless as any.
Yet lacked good fortune, as their mishaps were many.
From fighting giant ocean beasts to fleeing the kings eyes.
They had little to show for it, except for scars and flies.
The dream for treasure seems to always slip away.
Yet the crew remains hopeful of great riches one day.
Endless barrels of rum, and maybe a new ship or two.
Time ticked on And Chive's greed only grew and grew.
Until one morning, Chive has had enough.
"Forget merchant ships, pirates have the good stuff!"
Their cannons and blades turned, breaking the pirate code
Yet Chive was right, they were all suddenly swimming in gold.
Chive's unknown but ruthless crew suddenly had a name.
"Chive and the pirate cannibals" for both shame and fame.
Enemy of all, friend of none,
Something had to be done.
Battle after Battle, the crew stood firm, but not for long.
For there wasnt a single place were the pirate cannibals belong.
In desperation, Chive sought out the help from an ancient witch.
Maybe with some magic, they could finally enjoy being rich.
Sailing into a cave where no ship dares enter.
Chive screams "Reveal yourself witch, we demand your surrender!"
A snicker is heard, and a sudden blast of purple light.
"Have my curse, code breaker! Now get out of my sight!".
.
Not even Chive's crew dared to fight the ancient witch.
Quickly they turned, regretting the moment they turned rich.
Realising their skin turning soft and white.
Following a foul smell, this is the witch's curse alright.
Soft white skin, that seems to heal from any wound.
An undescribable stench, ruining even the toughest pirates mood.
Yet the witch underestimated the tenacity of Chive's crew.
For after this great misfortune, their greed only grew and grew.
Seemingly immortal, and now unbeatable in a fight.
All vessels surrendered immediatly on sight.
Fowl stench becoming fowler, and skin fading into blue.
Chive pirated on, her greed only grew and grew.
Yet here is where the curse bares its fangs.
An unbeatable crew, yet never once sang.
Cursed as the blue pirate cannibals, to roam the seas.
Never once enjoying the riches, life turned into an endless tease.
