What I would most like to hear is this.
I am so sorry I disrespected you. I will not do that again. I will not do that to other women. I will be kinder and gentler. I will be empathetic and I will listen to you instead of interrupting you. I will drive you to your work and help you there just as you helped me. I will make a decision about which relationship means the most to me. I will listen when you speak. I will honor your thoughts and decisions. I will discuss issues with you first. I will make you my queen. I will support you when you need it. I will put you first. I will love you honestly and genuinely. I will care in ways that make you feel treasured and loved by me. I will give you space to be with your friends and family. If I can;t do these things, I will tell you I can't and excuse myself from your picture without cruelty.
