I don't know what to do anymore. For two years I've been with the same man but I don't know what to do anymore. He's cheated he's been abusive and and played mind games with me since the beginning. I'm so fuckin in love with him I continue to let him hurt me. I've lost 50 pounds in 2 months. My anxiety is constantly at a all time high. I cry every hour of every day! How do I break free from this terrible horrible game. I love him but I have to let this go cause I feel like it's literally killing me!!! Please how do I let go of this?

Wow, this sounds a lot like my situations. It was killing me and I finally pushed him for the truth or to get out. He got out. It hurt like no other ended relationship hurt. I don't know why the worst relationship I've had, it seems like, is the one that hurt so much and is so hard to get over. I just don't get it.I don't know if it helps any, but somehow you have to look at this as if you are on the outside looking in. Would you encourage your daughter or good friend to stay in this relationship? Of course not. When I finally let myself tell friends about what had been going on and how it ended, they helped to carry some of my pain. I allowed myself to cry like I never have before and for the first time, I think, I practiced self compassion. I was actually doing pretty well and then after several weeks he came begging for another chance. I stupidly gave it to him and we rushed in too fast, again, and it imploded, again, very quickly. Just really love yourself and let this go and move on.

Find some family orclose friends you really feel can be there for you. If they don't know what is happening, tell them (If telling them is hard, show them this post you wrote), then stay there and don't go back till he is gone. If you don't have anyone you can go to, find a women's shelter. The pain once it is ended will be unbelievable but you can make it.

Feeling pretty disappointed with myself for letting myself give my ex boyfriend another chance only to find out he had lied to me, quite a bit, again, to get that chance. I love him so much and am so sad that both of us brought baggage, fears, pain, that contaminated the relationship. We were aware of it and discussed it and tried to manage it and grow together, but the one area he could not manage was his bad relationship with his ex. He refuses to get a parenting plan for their 9 yr old daughter and lets his ex gf call all the shots and only give him crumbs of time with his child. No predictability for him or his daughter for when they would be together and when they were his ex dictated what they would do. He wouldn't protect our relationship from her efforts to poison it, and so it did. I've never felt like I do now, after any past relationship. I just have never wanted to try to make one work as much as I did this one. In the past I've been way too good at cutting people off and moving on. But not this time and I would like to know why and how to just let it go.

I feel so alone. Its been over 3 months since I left my wife. I've never had friends. The people here really are the closest thing I have to friends right now.

Nights are the worst, I just want to cry myself to sleep. When does it stop hurting?

I aSk myself that same question. I'm not sure when it stops but I know that focusing on trying to make it stop doesn't help. In this moment of pain focus on what makes you happy. Do something you've always wanted to do. I know it's not something that is easy going through but I also know trying to get it to stop faster doesn't do any justice.

My boyfriend broke it off with me 2 month ago and every time I remember him it's worse than before. I've been hearing about the things he says about me, how it caused him pain more than happiness. I wasn't a bad girlfriend at all, I loved him and gave him all of me. I don't understand why he hates me so much, and it hurts because he doesn't even think of me. I blocked him off all of my social media, but I still love him too much, I want him but he can't stand looking at me and that hurts. 2 years for nothing. I feel like he has lied to me this whole time or deceived me, and this isn't a good feeling at all. When does it get better? When will I stop thinking of him?

I am sorry for what ur going thru. I wish I could tell u when it gets better but I can't. It has been 3 months since my ex and I broke up and I still miss him. I guess it gets better little by little. Everybody says time will heal. I hope that is true for u and me.

The past week has been brutal. I proposed to my girlfriend (of 2+years) on Christmas and she said yes.

Five days later, on Dec 30th, she proceeded to call of the engagement because she had doubts and that she was cheating on me. I'm devastated. She was, what I thought, my best friend and confident.

She took our little girl to his parents house (in another city) when she told me something else. She spent the night with him at his house on New Years Eve, after asking me to come over and cuddle spend the night there.

We have talked since, but still I'm confused. She says she loves me, still wants to marry me, and have kids...but won't break it off with the other guy (who knew all along about us, doesn't want us to break up, and "felt bad"). Not to mention, we slept with each other after numerous talks. It's a weird situation. I'm totally lost and confused.

Our daughter is not mine biologically, I've been in her life for the past 2+years of her 4. The bio dad has been a no show. I have helped raise her. So it sucks. I feel if I stay in her life, I just make it more confusing and not fair to her. So I don't believe I will be a part of the little ones life; even though it kills me to say that, as I love her so much.

Ugggggggh. Confusing, sad, frusturted...

Today I feel ungrateful. I see so many people struggling with relationships, and I'm just throwing away a really good marriage for the unknown. I'm breaking my husband's heart because I'm in love with someone else. He's done nothing wrong and is a good husband and I do still love him. I feel like an awful person.

I am in the same exact situation. My husband was great but I filed for divorce because we couldn't stop fighting. Shortly after that I completely fell in love with somebody else with whom I am going through a terrible break up. My kids are the ones suffering here. I feel like a horrible person as well.

I was in this situation as well... although my marriage was not happy, I did have the courage to end it because of the love I found with someone else. I know that I made the right decision. There is a very good book that helped me understand how I (and my boyfriend) got into this situation, if you are interested.

Six + months has passed and I think I've improved a bit. Still sad and depressed regarding that we could've been so happy if I wasn't such a b*tch.. </3

I am going through a terrible divorce and a horrible break up as well. I was married for 9 years and have two daughters. After I left my husband I met aguy and we were together for 9 months. I completely destroyed that relationship due to my drinking. He was so supportive but he didn't have a job, a car, has a felony duiand continually gets arrested for nonpayment of fines and such. He got arrested in front of my daughter. I love him so much but know he is bad for me. My heart is breaking over him. I just want to let it go. I also miss my family that I had with my husband. I am so alone and broken.

I have continued to be friends with him and his current girlfriend of over a year. Today I am wondering if continuing to know him isn't worth this pain anymore.... I am in pain. And this hurts. I have decided to live this way, in pain, for someone who wouldn't go through the same pain for me.Why?
