Breakup because I was the problem
Hello, My name is Nathan. I'm currently going through a break up where I was the problem. I was condescending, rude, and just not being the best version of myself. She says she still loves me and wants the best for me.
She also said she would be willing to give me another chance in the future.
But, I don't think it is healthy to hold on to that hope. I'm just in so much pain mentally right now. I just want to heal and grow into a better man, but the pain is cutting too deep.
Forgive yourself. It can take time, I understand. But you wanting to change means you're genuinely sorry, hence you can let go of your past. Others are being forgiving to you, you can do the same for yourself.
My husband is as you described about you, we are still
toffer there in same
home
, not divorced, but, I would not want
another chance with him, am trying to heal myself too.
My husband is a narcissist so for him chances to do better won’t help, he will ruin anyone life if close
to him. In my opinion if you feel you are same way
just don’t get into relationship ever because it only
hurt you and others.
You need to process the grief and pain in a healthy way. Don't hold on to hope that she will come back. Right now, you need to focus on you. Consider what you think is best for you and go from there. If you aren't happy and love yourself, it's harder to love another. Don't let the pain cripple you. Take this time to do what's going to help you be the person you want to be. Sometimes things are put in our path to test us and how we react and respond teaches us. Focus on you and hang in there. You're not alone even when you feel alone.
