Broken
I am lost and torn apart. I cannot stop crying. I spent 3 years together with a guy and he decides to break up with me. A month later he reaches out to me trying to reconnect. We go on a date, things go great and I tell him I want to take things slow. He doesnt text me for 2 days after that. I message him and he tells me that its a bonus that we have a good connection but he is there for sex and thats all he sees me as. Not only am I disgusted but it makes me feel like theres nothing to like about me. Why is that all he wants from me when weve spent 3 years together? Im so confused and it kills me that he said that because I could name a million things I love about him.

Hey there, hopefully you are doing well. There's a few things I would like to point out;
I am lost and torn apart. I cannot stop crying. I spent 3 years together with a guy and he decides to break up with me. (Thats one of the most hurtful things to go through, it feels like constant pain, sadness, anxiety and hurt mixed into one when it comes to the end of a relationship)A month later he reaches out to me trying to reconnect. We go on a date, things go great and I tell him I want to take things slow. (I could see why you would say this, the breakup was tough for you and it was important to take it slow to get used to things again, specially after what happened) He doesnt text me for 2 days after that. (This kind of shows he was after something, he didn't get it and now is backing away...) I message him (I believe you felt anxiety and you were a bit inconsistent by sending him a message. You wanted to take things slow, but then message him, so it tells me you wanted to calm down the anxiety) and he tells me that its a bonus that we have a good connection but he is there for sex and thats all he sees me as. (What he said its all needed to know how he is as a person, it tells me he is selfish and reached out when he felt lonely. You want a man who treats you as a person and is considerate of your feelings, not someone who is selfish like him) Not only am I disgusted but it makes me feel like theres nothing to like about me. (It's normal you feel disgusted, it was very rude and mean what he said to you) Why is that all he wants from me when weve spent 3 years together? (I think he felt alone and things go well like he expected, so he decided to reach out. His behavior is not a reflection of you as a person, but rather a reflection of who he is as a person) Im so confused and it kills me that he said that because I could name a million things I love about him. (its quite normal you feel confused and hurt about what he said, i do feel like he wanted to hurt you in a way for wanting to take things slow, but it really shows the kind of person he is. You are more than an object, you are a person and if he can't treat you like one then is his loss)
