Help
I have been struggling with anxiety for a long time and it has gotten drastically worse this past month. I was in a two year committed relationship with my girlfriend and she broke up with me because of my anxiety. She told me she tried push through and keep going through the relationship for me but it started to affect her own happiness. This sent me on a downwards spiral. I love this girl. Hi there, break ups are hard and we never know how one will react to it. We all go through different stages in our life were we have ups and downs . Relationships are like that in a spiral.
There is doubt that we never feel upset after a relationship goes. If not we wouldn't of been that person in the relationship two who deserved to be with someone special. As for you you are.
Only thing I would say is to think about yourself more in terms of feeling and being happy. No one deserves not to .if you think someone or something is making you down get rid of them if you think nothing's helping and you tried so hard with someone then you know to get rid too and not waste your time .
You need to know that in relationships yes you do wanna make the other person happy and do anything for them to keep them but that's not the answer . You need to think of yourself and do what you think is best but know if this person is treating you bad to leave because no ones deserves to be a victim and you didn't sign up to be. So be cautious and aware.
Do what you feel is right. No one will judge. Just don't regret it in future if you think it will not work. Do the right thing now.
Hope that helps.
This I hope makes alot of sense to you and learn from what a relationship is.
Hugs

Hey there, hopefully you are doing well. There's a few things I would like to point out;
I have been struggling with anxiety for a long time and it has gotten drastically worse this past month. (This is usually not a good sign because with anxiety its going to make you do and say things that will push her away. I believe you were always fearful of losing her, constantly looking for every little signs she is abandoning you, becoming self-absorbed in the sense that you didn't want to give her space at times, some insecurities coming to the surface, not being able to soothe your anxiety and more) I was in a two year committed relationship with my girlfriend and she broke up with me because of my anxiety. (She felt smothered and trapped here, so it didn't make her feel safe) She told me she tried push through and keep going through the relationship for me but it started to affect her own happiness. (It really hurts hearing those kind of words, but from the sounds of it she tried the best she could to make things work, but your anxiety always put you in panic mode, so it made you do and say things that pushed her away) This sent me on a downwards spiral. I love this girl. I spent so much of my time after th break up trying to see her and speak to her (This is going to kill whatever love and attraction she has for you, you are not respecting what she wants. You have become self-absorbed thinking mostly about "I want to get her back", without thinking about her feelings. You shouldn't chase or try to get someone back when they end things...it communicates you don't have self-respect and then you'll lose even more value in her eyes. It's important you stop all forward movement until she contacts you, then you can ask her out on a date.) and finally she looked me in the eye and told me she didnt care about me anymore. (It's how she felt in that moment (It won't stay forever like that, feelings change), and it's her way to push you away completly so you would stop talking to her) Personally Im not sure if she meant it if she was just trying to get me to leave.(It's what she tried to do because you were not respecting her decision, so she wanted to push you away) But I did. We havent spoken since, is there anything I can do for our relationship ? (Nothing...wait to hear from her...Do NOT contact her or try to see her for any reason unless she contacts you) Or myself ? (You need to work on your anxiety because I can tell you have unresolved issues from your past that caused her to end things. It's important to solve those unresolved issues on order to have a healthy and sucessful relationship)
