Marriage is hard
I’ve been married for almost 5 years and my marriage is really struggling. At the beginning of December I caught my husband in a lie that had been going on for basically our whole relationship. I felt really betrayed and hurt. We are trying to move past it but we’ve had other obstacles as well. I’ve really struggled with anxiety and I don’t feel like he accepts or understands that part of me. I am going to therapy to try and get help, but sometimes I just feel like I can’t talk to anyone honestly about what I’m feeling. I’m scared that my marriage is going to end and it feels like I can’t envision a future with my husband anymore. I’m scared that we might be better apart than we are together, but I don’t know if it’s just a rough patch or if it’s a sign that we both need to be done. I’m heartbroken. I just want to go back to being with the person I love, but it feels like there’s been so much damage done on both ends. I feel guilty for wondering if we’re better apart and terrified at the thought of being alone and having to start over. If we get divorced, I never want to go through anything like this ever again.

It is hard and people change and maybe are NOT the same person you married.... i know mine is not
a long term lie makes you question everything and looking back things always look worse .... it is hard to say where you go from here ............... i understand the not really seeing a future while at same time not being able to picture starting over and being alone.
so many things i think they never say about marriage much like a job the person starts out a great fit but in time can end up not happy with job or not living up to a nice resumes or interview .........in jobs they sometimes coach a person and work with them on improved performance before cutting them loose ...... think same type thing could work in marriage.
