Mourning a relationship
My most current ex-boyfriend and I broke up almost 2 months ago. July 24th. It's gotten a lot harder to deal with. No one talks about how when two people love each other so much, when one partner displays their pain all out and you agree to their wishes of breaking up to save them from hating you in the future.
I truly wish him the absolute best, but I'm hurting so bad right now. It's a long and complicated road ahead. But I'll take it step by step to ensure I don't fall too hard. I'll always get back up..
To anyone who's suffering from a break up, I hope you have some peace soon. To those who are mourning what was, what could have been, I'm there with you. Just remember, you are worth it. ❤

I'm sorry you're going through that. 💜
It sounds like your ex-boyfriend was in a lot of pain and wanted to break up, and because you loved and cared about his well-being, you agreed to it. But you didn't want the break up to happen and you're hurting so much in the aftermath.
I love what you've said of "you are worth it". Your feelings matter and I also hope you're able to have peace. For me personally, when I'm feeling sad or lonely, I find it really helpful to just acknowledge that I'm hurting and take care of myself in all of those soft, vulnerable feelings (e.g. wrap myself in a blanket, just do things I enjoy that feel comfortable).
