Relationship Ultimatum: go to therapy

My partner of 6 years gave me this ultimatum about 6 months ago. She has been in therapy for 2 years, which is about the same amount of time that we have not been intimate. I came here because therapy is expensive, and frankly all the therapy sessions she has done just seem to make her angrier at me and put more blame on me for all the relationship problems. It may be too little too late, because I finally am losing any sense of being a partner with her. All I see is a roommate now. A roommate who throws leaves garbage all over the kitchen counter, throws dirty clothes wherever she feels like leaving them, leaves dirty dishes on the table when she's done eating, and doesn't pay her full share of rent most months.

The latest development with her therapist was the solution to the problem was that I should just clean up after her, because that's what loving couples do. This was shocking to me, but I actually gave it a try. What resulted was she started being rude to me for no reason, and when I brought that up, it led to a conversation about how she has crushes on other guys on the internet. This same thing happened pre-ultimatum. So, I just can't get on board with cleaning up after someone and covering their rent, when the relationship doesn't seem loving anymore.

I guess my question is, how bad is it going to be to spend the 6 months remaining in our lease, now that I'm pretty much giving up on the relationship?

If you’re not interested in savings the relationship but obviously you don’t go to therapy and just break up with her. If you’re interested in saving the relationship then I think it’s worth investing the money but I’d suggest finding a new therapist and not using hers, I heard for couples counseling it’s best to start with someone new for the both of you. Why is she so angry with you? You never really explained to what could be causing the problem. It kinda sounds like it might be too late for therapy since you both kinda sound over it. If you decide to break up, 6 months isn’t too long in the grand scheme of things, maybe you could try to crash at a friends house when you can or try to find some way to break your lease earlier. Good luck no matter what you decide to do!

Sir back ,relax and enjoy the show.

If your done your done..

Make sure you get what you can from the last 6 months ,don't hurt her, and don't let her destroy you. Maybe just try and enjoy the female company...
