So, idrk but it's been on my mind for a while. I'm dating someone but idk where I exist with her. My needs aren't met and our schedules are way too different. I feel like I always have to offer her emotional support when I don't get any in return and it makes me want to leave. I always tell her she's a good gf but I don't really feel that way. She makes me sad and lonely a lot. I cry when I'm with her because I overthink about our situation. The good thing is we talk it out after we argue but I don't feel like she's being completely honest with me. I don't know if I still want to be with her. I'm tired and I need someone to be there for me but with her I always have to be the care taker and idw to do it. Her sex drive is also high and it doesn't match with mine. I feel forced to engage in sexual activities sometimes. I don't feel comfortable about it.

I think it is important for a person to get their needs met and a balance in the relationship ......it sounds if yours is mostly one sided

if you have to fib that she is a good GF .... your answer is there.......

once the pattern has been established she may change to meet your needs for example after an argument but not consistent and like it should be ..... you should not be lonely in a relationship

i do not believe male or female anyone should feel like they must perform sexually because the other person wants it .....

Its OK. Maybe you’re both not very well suited to each other. It’s good that you’ve been honest with yourself at least in this space! Sometimes it’s so much easier to be honest with what is in our hearts when our partners aren’t pressuring us to think/feel/ be a certain way. More importantly, if our partners constantly make us feel burdened, then we definitely need to re evaluate our relationship, and communicate our hardships to them. We have to be true to ourselves, and you need to acknowledge your own needs or else you will be unhappy and exhausted over time.

Be fair to yourself. You have a good and noble heart which is why you want to tell her she is a good girlfriend even though your relationship feels one-sided in terms of support. But there is a matter of what you can sustain in a long term relationship, and what is healthy for both of you, and what makes you both happy/unhappy. Tell her the truth, and maybe after you know what is in each others hearts, and how you both feel; you might have a clearer insight as to how to move forward (even if it means [maybe] you decide that finding other people might make you both happier in the end).

@considerateTurtle5368 It's important that you prioritize your own needs and well-being first, aways. It's okay to take a step back and reevaluate whether this relationship is truly meeting your needs and making you happy. It's important to have open and honest communication with your partner about how you're feeling and what you need from the relationship. If your partner is not willing to listen to your concerns or meet your needs, it may be time to consider ending the relationship. It's important to be with someone who respects your boundaries and makes you feel comfortable in all aspects of the relationship, including sexually. Remember, your feelings and needs are valid and deserve to be prioritized.
