What a week

It’s been nearly a week since I told my love interest and close friend how I feel about him. We work together. He hasn’t responded with how he feels, instead changed the subject but did acknowledge my feelings to him were a shock.

5 days on still no more clarity. We speak normally at work and have spoke outside of work too albeit not as much as usual which I guess is expected.

I was having a horrid week so I messaged him and talked about it with him. He listened and was very protective of me and willing to defend my corner. It was very sweet. He then has messaged me today checking how I am.

due to the lack of clarity moving forward is difficult as I’m unsure what’s going on. I’m unsure what to do?
