What do I do!?
6 weeks ago my boyfriend broke up with me. It was very emotional and we were both in tears, the thing of both of us still loving one another but not being compatible (thats his reasoning apparently)
Anyway we stayed friends, and by that I mean we have seen each other more now than ever, still saying we love each other, still spending nights together and still kissing etc in the privacy of the bedroom (no sex). We kissed yesterday, very passionately and my heart was racing, I'm still madly in love with him. I want him back so bad. It's starting to take its toll on me, I'm getting depressed knowing that he is moving on (he was on a dating site even though he said he loved me still). I feel like for my own sanity I should walk away but at the same time having him in my life is the only thing keeping me steady right now. What should I do? How can I make this feel ok?
@LittleBike1907 The way you describe the situation, it sounds like he is madly in love with you too. My feeling is that maybe something about this scares him. Maybe he is afraid it will not last? Maybe he is afraid he cannot match the love you have for him? Maybe he has shameful secrets that make him feel he does not deserve you? It's impossible to guess here in a forum.
When you write "apparently" it suggests you don't really feel you understand his reasons either. When you ask "What should I do?" it suggests your feeling you should walk away is balanced by a feeling that you should stay in some kind of relationship, at least for now. If you stay there is perhaps a chance that you can talk, and understand, and no longer have to say "apparently" whichever way it goes in future. If you walk away now you will perhaps never know.
I suspect you cannot make it feel OK. It is not OK.
