you know, I used to feel the same way about emotion, until I saw this quote of Zooey Deschanel's where she said that it's a beautiful thing to be emotional, because you have the capacity to feel and empathise and just take in all of the world in all its joy and sorrow (I'm paraphrasing) and that has stayed with me.
