I am learning it's not worth it
I recently stumbled upon a social media channel of someone I used to associate with but she wasn't a good friend. Though it was years ago, she had a history of jerking me around, making empty promises, and leaving me at the bottom of her list unless the other important priorities in her life were not there. I was always trying to step on eggshells around her as she is one of those people who has to be right about everything. I could never talk to her about the way she had been treating me without her flying off the handle and making excuses. Finally, once she decides she doesn't want you around, then she gets very nasty.
Despite that, I had been wanting to reach out to her but when I talked to a friend and a counselor about it, they looked at her profile and felt that she doesn't look like a nice person. My counselor also said that based on her given history, she could probably hurt me again. So I just decided to block her and keep my distance.

i think people can change over time even if a little but ofcourse if you feel it's best to keep distance, that's very much okay! You deserve to protect your peace!
People can definitely change, but remember if you feel she will not be good for you mental health, then you have every right to keep your distance!

I miss her but when I looked at her videos and shared them with some other people who are in my life, all of us felt icky afterward as we all agreed her channel seemed to be full of drama. Though I miss her, I personally don't care for her content because I felt like she was using platform to get attention.
@Summershy
Good for you summer!
