My cats - they are so sweet and loving, and I'm devoted to their care.

My partner - he is so supportive of my long-term aspirations and needs while also healthily acknowledging his own needs and goals. It's the healthiest mindset I've encountered in a relationship and I feel so lucky to have a person like him in my life. We can go have a day out *or* laze around in pajamas all day, either way, I know I'm in for a relaxing and fun time.

I feel the most comfortable around ... 1) a few close friends and/or 2) my brother.

In 2018, there were a few hours where somehow we got to be just my brother and I (sometimes Nephew and niece included or sleeping). Our relationship as adult siblings is changing around again/more. The time and effort I put into explaining to him what I'd like most seems to help. It is easier too somehow? for me to hear his questions. I mean, like before I'd get all upset and like 'why are you asking that' and he was only 1/2 done with the question. Now I'm trying to hear him out more because I'm learning (which I already knew, but ...) that my brother has grown up or is still growing into a wise loving husband and father ... and as such he knows different stuff than I do so I hope we can learn from each other. Plus he's my little brother so I'll most likely always love fiercely and protect as much as possible and care for him very much.

But I would put close friends definitely as #1. With these few people I can "just be myself." Lots of people use that phrase, but to me it is SO important. If you are my friend, and I (and you) are content just sitting like in the same room or near one another - or in silence on the phone - this means I feel comfortable with you. Just *that* part puts you in the upper echelon of people in my life. Also, these are friends with whom I can share things - sometimes deep personal things or things I am scared about. A commonality among these friends is that they are good listeners. They don't always want to talk, but will stop and ask me how things are for me etc also.

This is a good topic for me. I could probably write a two page report haha. So I'll stop now. ~ Platy

I feel most comfortable with my kids. Or people that I know are real and down to earth. I do not trust people.

People who let me be my awkward self, and let me become more comfortable at my own pace as time goes by.

For example, Ive grown too skinny right now due to major depression for a year and a half. I lost my appetite and had to force myself to eat, it was horrible because its like my mind wants to shut down but my body wants to survive. So when new colleagues see my frail figure which Im still trying to fatten up to my old weight, they assume that I dont eat. Their constantly asking me about it makes me feel even more stressed out. If they saw me before my depression got so bad, they would see that I was actually a skinny-a$$ bottomless pit. Ive just inherited my lanky figur from my dads side of the family. No matter how much I eat, its so difficult for me to gain and keep fat.

Or is this making any sense at all?

I really enjoy being alone because I feel like I can let myself go. It's great when I'm home alone, I feel so relaxed that I play my music and sing at the top of my lungs. I feel so good that I do things that I usually dislike, I clean the house and once I gave myself a facial. But I also like being around my closest friends, we've been in the same group for over six years and we're tight. They can make me feel at ease even when I'm super uncomfortable.
