@Laura My happiest memory is waking up at dawn running into my dads old pickup listening to old music and getting off at the field where hed fix irrigation motors and catching butterflies in two liter pop bottles, hed tell me that every butterfly Id catch was a wish that would come true. Id catch grasshoppers and pretend I could fly with birds and before we got home hed buy me candy with the little money we had to spare, we had to save for weeks for it because we lived so far out but it felt like I was the luckiest kid running through alfalfa fields in the summer sun and dust.

@Laura It was 4 May 2018 and I got the scholarship that enabled me to go to my dream school. I was absolutely ecstatic. I can remember the tension in my stomach as I waited for them to announce the winner and the feeling when they called my name... phenominal

My happiest memory... Making wooden toy swords with my grandfather. Simple, calming the feeling of being wanted. Or someo e wanting to spend time with you. The smell of sawdust will always bring good thoughts to me.

@Laura

My happiest memory...I actually have a lot of happy memories.

One happy memory is at Christmastime with my family in the UK. It was snowing outside, and we went to a Carolling service. The snow was crunching under my feet, and I was laughing with my Nan and my sister. At the Carol service, they gave us mulled wine and we sang some lovely hymns. There were candles and fairylights all around, in this tiny little Church with wooden pews and stone walls. I remember feeling so warm, my cheeks still stinging from the wind outside, and enjoying the beautiful melodies and the sound of my Dad singing slightly out of tune.

@AbbyHarris1976 Thanks for the tag initially.

My happiest memory is how i met a person who is really kind, helping and compassionate. Its really happiest as there were nill chances i will met her in life, but by God's grace, i stumbled upon her blogs and i replied to her post as i really loved it.To which she replied and our friendship started to grow. Am so happy that though we stay far and havent met, yet we are in contact and have a good friendship.

I think the best friends are the ones we "stumble" upon because they're the ones God leads us to. blushheart I'm thankful for this, too! yes

Its really true what you saidyes.I never had any true friend or true friendship,whom i can trust and tell, coz mainly all those were so-called friends who were really fake. But am so glad to have some yet good people in my life who understands me. Its really trueenlightenedwhen one door is closed, somewhere God opens another door for us so that we can find real and long lasting stable friendshipsheartsmiley.
