My yr11 and 13 proms spring to mind
Honeymoon in Jamaica. My inlaws bought us a stay at an all inclusive place. We would have never been able to afford that after paying for the wedding. So after all the stress of the wedding is done. All the crap and crud and family and stress and people pulling you in many directions you are left with your new wife. Your new wife lots of food and drinks and crystal blue water you can see through straight to the bottom. The water is warm and calm too, like glass. The last day there we finally tried out the little sail boats. They tell you you will get a lesson. Yeah, not so much. AS THEY PUSH YOU OUT the guy says with a smile left is right and right is left! I see others stalled out in the water. One couple ran into a dock. Another couple flipped theirs. There are catamarans, hard to flip. But I don't know why I took to it FAST. My new wife sat on the tramp and enjoyed getting splashed. I would yell out "heads up!" before you turn. You dive down let the boom (pole) swing over your head and pop up on the other side. Hopefully to be pointed the way you wanted to go and still moving fast. We sailed for 45 minutes before they came to ask we share the boat. I was able to gain enough speed to run the boat up all the way onto the beach. The man was impressed and slapped me on the back....... I can remember everything about that hour. Wishing for just one more that was as fun and perfect!
My happiest memory is from my 17th birthday which was last year in august. I was at Holy Island with my family, which is my favourite place, just sitting on the grass, when I saw two parents teaching their baby girl how to walk. She noticed me and smiled, so I smiled back.. and then she walked up to me.. straight into my arms, and hugged me. Her parents said that she doesn't usually do this around strangers as she is shy, and I have never felt as much joy and love as I did in that moment.
One of my happiest moments is when my son was born. I had 3 children his delivery was different.
Best........
The happiest I've ever been was the morning I was going to meet my friend that I was in love with, the woman of my dreams, after learning from her friend that she was also in love with me. However, that isn't my happiest memory, as it turned out that her friend had been mistaken, and the rest of that day turned into one of the worst of my life.
So instead, my happiest memory was New Year's Eve 1992/New Year's Day 1993. Our group of friends were camped out on Colorado Boulevard in preparation for the Rose Parade. The party atmosphere had faded as the night grew deeper and colder. I was sitting in one of our lawn chairs, wrapped in my sleeping bag. And my beloved friend, whom I had yet to confess my true feelings to, sat in my lap, wrapped her arms around me, lay her head against my chest, and fell asleep. I sat there with my arms around her, smelling the scent of her hair, feeling her warmth against me, feeling her breathing softly, and held her. And she slept in my arms all night. I stayed awake as long as I could, for hours, wanting to remain in that moment as long as humanly possible.
It would be the closest I ever came to knowing what it would be like to be hers, but at that point in time I still had hope that she might be falling in love with me. It remains the best night of my life.

I honestly don't have a happy memory that sticks out. Hopefully I will in the future, though.
