Hi. I just joined this group today. I've been struggling to get over the end of a long-term relationship and infidelity for a year now and while I'm on the mend I'm still not there yet, which can get me down sometimes! I'm looking forward to healing and helping others in the same position x

Hi folks. I've been struggling again today. Broke up with my long-term ex about a year ago. I didn't want to but felt he'd left me no choice if I didn't want to be a doormat. Haven't had any contact with him since but heard he hooked up within days of our break up with a girl he'd been seeing just before we got together. After 7 months they've decided to buy a house together even though they've never lived together. I know it shouldn't get to me but it crushes me hearing that as we were together far longer & we never bought a place together & he seems to have moved on so quickly. Makes me feel like I didn't mean anything to him & that I was used & lied to. Still breaks my heart a year on 😭
