world needs someone to care
it's easiest thing to judje
Be your own best friend first. Others may not understand, but the truth is all that matters, no matter what they say or do.
Everyone can benefit from an open mind. If the whole world new that it needs healing, the healthier ways of life will no longer be so far away. We can witness the "invisible" pain of others, if we care too.

So, theres this cliche. It gets better. I didnt believe that. Who would? When youre severely depressed, anxious and dissociative - like I was - its hard to believe. But now I can truly say with all of my heart that it gets better. Im better and I dont feel so bad. I feel happy. I feel grateful that I went through all this stuff. If I hadnt been suicidal, I never would have made friends with some lovely people, listened to great music and learned all this.
To the world, I am happy. And regardless of what you threw at me, I am happy. One day you will be too.
It gets better xx

As we are in the Month of Mental Health Awareness,
What is the message that you want to share with the world?
*I want the world to know that your mental health is just as and sometimes more important than your physical health. The stigma surrounding mental illness isn't fair, helpful, healthy, counterproductive, and dangerous. It's important that people who suffer from mental illness are empowered and encouraged to get treatment, there shouldn't be any difference than the encouragement and empowerment someone suffering from heart disease would receive. It's important that sufferers know they are not alone, even when it feels like that, and there are a number of treatments available depending on the diagnosis. As far as the people who do not suffer from mental illness, it's very likely that someone they know, maybe even someone they love and care deeply for. do. Regardless, everyone should have a little more compassion for others, mental illness or not. The world is messed up enough as it is, due to a lot of contributing factors/people. Humanity, itself, can definitely benefit from everyone being more understanding, less judgmental, and us being there for one another. Mental health is sometimes a fragile thing, especially living in today's world. Ultimately, we need to be more understanding, respectful, and caring for our fellow humans. Who knows, one day you may be making fun of someone for being "crazy", and a couple months later you could be the one given the same diagnosis that you thought was entertaining to make fun of, how would you feel than, if someone laughed at you and called you "crazy"?
@K87 my message is kind of following this same idea, but it's less about those who are crazy but rather those who seem crazy. I am speaking from experience. The thing I have is known as a tulpa. There's a fair amount of religious stigmas that paint this to be a bad thing, but there isn't really much substance to that claim. However, most people don't even know about it, nor can they comprehend the possibility. My message is directed mostly at those people. To give a basic explanation, tulpas are like alters in DID, except they are more deliberately created and can form regardless of age.
So the message: don't openly discredit someone if they tell you they have a tulpa. It's often offensive to the person and will cause the tulpa to start questioning it's existence. That last part might not matter if you don't believe in it, but many people end up being increasingly distant to people who don't believe them. It's also often very distressing. Also, don't try to make them believe it isn't real because it causes lots emotional pain. The person will grieve over them after they realize the tulpa is no longer present because you made them stop believing in it. So in short, it's really not worth it to make this happen.
@Donoya
I have never heard of a tulpa before, so I decided to research it. It's fascinating. I'm so sorry that you and others with a tulpa have had to deal with people being awful and mean. It's not fair that their ignorance and lack of consideration for others has resulted in people that have a tulpa to start questioning their beliefs and hurt them in ways the other person doesn't and couldn't understand. I wish people would take time to research something before they decide to comment on it, especially because knowledge is power, without the necessary knowledge, it's possible to cause someone an enormous amount of pain (physically and/or mentally) and not even realize it.
