Ah, my happy place. That would be a 3 or 4 bedroom house in the town just south of where I live now, with a unit in the back for my adult daughter, plenty of room for the woman I would be married to, and me retired so I can enjoy it. And it is possible.

@AveryLove My happy place varies , it seems to that being out in the sun near water with my dogs is my happy place or a particularly place I walk them regularly where you can see our entire village from a cliff top. My safe happy place has to be my bed ha.

Hmm my happy place. Probably on a boat, on the ocean, docked just slightly away from the beach shore. Reminds me of my favourite place in Turkey actually. Crystal clear waters, turtles swimming around, amazing.

A cozy cabin on a small piece of land in a lake. Some room for a garden. And a bunch of wolves around to befriend.
My happy place is in a tree. A soft breeze coming thru the leaves and touching my cheeks. Whispering calm and peace.
I look down to see the pond bestow. The wind skips across the water like a child chasing a butterfly. The water splashed against the shore then runs back again.
Ducks play touch and go on the pond and a set of swans take it all in.
The mountains loom in the background reaching into the heAvens unighting two worlds. The heavens boast of their beauty with blue skies and pink clouds. Welcoming a new day

I will love to have a small yet well planned house, surrounded by hills.That place will be calm and cool. Have a huge garden to plant vegetables and flowers as well.And have 2 gloden retriever for me and a kitten for my brother

For me ... it would be in a city coffeehouse with good friends and we'd all be drinking coffee on a rainy day in the city, sitting back in easy chairs (some coffeehouses have easy chairs 
), reading mystery novels and chatting ... and we'd all be feeling happy and smiling inside and out.

I've always pictured a house by a beautiful beach with a hamock on the porch looking out at a fantastic view of the ocean. Considering my roots being born and living in the Carribean for 18 years until I eventually moved to the states and been up for almost 10 years, I've deeply missed the sights and sounds of having the ocean nearby. The sound of seagulls in the evening or the ocean waves crashing along the shores in the morning when I'd walk down to the docks to see the sun rise. I'd want to return to that atmosphere but now be actually living up by the beach.
It's where I feel most at peace with everything and where I'm reminded of my love for nature in all of its natural spectacle.

I think my happy place would look like:
living in a nice and simple apartment/studio apartment with a music studio. It will be designed to my comfort, and liking. The area will be nicely lit by the sun whenever it's bright, and it will be cozy at nightfall. It will be like my safe place.
