What does your happy place look like?

My happy place will look like a beach or a library

I came to conclusion that happiness is not about a place, but about state of mind, emotional prosperity. As for just favorite places and cities, I kindly love Kyiv, Lviv and Prague. I like to check different travel blogs searching for new ideas for travel, but the city I live in (Kyiv) is the most lovely for me.

My happy place is me lying in a field of grass at the darkest time of night. There is a new moon and there's nothing but stars. The forest surrounds me. Tall pines tower over me. The smell of rain in the distance is in the air. The love of my life is lying next to me. We just sit and look at the stars. There is no one else around but nature. Lightning bugs light up the darkness. Crickets are chirping their beautiful night song. It's just me and her talking without interruption.

Once i dreamt of owning a modest cabin in the woods, with two fishponds and my wolves...i had no money to do it...once i dreamt of owning a modest sailing boat and roam free in international waters...i didn't have money to do it...once i dreamt i could be with the love of my life and i didn't have the money to do it...what is the point of a "happy place" if you can only dream about it?

The Cliffs of Moher, in Ireland. I've never been there, but i've dreamed about them alot.

On a hilly side, near a lake. I'd be cuddled up in fluffly blankets and lots of pillows, surrounded by my cousins and just talking about life and what not. It has to be super cold too.

A beautful beach setting with a small and cozy house with a hamock on the porch. I imagine spending mornings walking on the beach enjoying the sunrise as I sit on the sand and the seagulls fly around serenading the area with their chatter. Then when the evenings roll around, I'd lay on my hamock watching the beautiful sun set over the ocean as I enjoy a delicious meal or treat listening to the calming ocean waves. No stresses in life, no anxiety, no fear, no pain....just peace and joy. As the occasional storms pass, the cool winds would arrive blowing the palm trees enough that the bristling leaves and the sound of rain would give off a sleep encouraging atmosphere to which I'd just pass out in the most relaxing and carefree sleep that I've ever had. This is the type of place that would make me most happy.

Call it a paradise home for me. I'd also include that I had a large expansive variety of foods to explore and enjoy. I'd also cook my own stuff occasionally whenever I was in the mood as I've recently grew a love for cooking.

Hmmm, something's missing from this paradise however. Perhaps, someone to share this with? With that, I leave in God's hands and just enjoy the incredible gift that I've been given.
