What is the most important quality in a friend?
@CheeryMango I always think that a friend should not make you insecure about who you are... They should accept you and make you accept yourself for who you are
If you are scared to be who you actually are in front of people and scared that you'll lose people if you show then who you are, that can't be friendship

I think the most important quality in a friend is Honesty. Honesty is the root. If it's there all the other (loyalty, love, acceptance) will come.

For me it has to be that they are honest because if they aren't I won't be able to trust them.
That’s a very fair comment. You can build trust knowing that the other person will be loyal and truthful with you about things that matter.
Acceptance. One has to have this quality, they must accept their friend as they are and without acceptance and trust, I don't think the friendship will last long.
