What's the best "Relationship Advice" someone has ever given to you?
hey lovely people!
What's the best "Relationship Advice" someone has ever given to you?

Love is about the senseless hapiness you feel just being with someone and so when that feeling goes away it is okay to let go because love isnt meant to stay stagnant.
@fantasticFaith19
I don't think that's love. I think that's just brain chemistry. True love is a concious choice and effort, but it has no end. It's loving someone as you want to be, in spite of your flaws, bad days, bad moods or decisions. What you basically said was, when the going gets tough, get going because it doesn't FEEL good. Lots of things don't feel good, but it's usually a sign of growth. It seems that most people want to be loved unconditionally but dont give it or know how to.
Some people can't be fixed, no matter how much we love them.
Never stop dating....set aside a night a week or every two weeks or whatever works best and go out to dinner at least. Essentially don't ever stop showing appreciation for each other and keep the romance alive.
If you think you love a man, watch how he treats his mother. That is how he will treat you in the future.
@AveryLove
If they care they will always be there when you need them and they will not treat you badly or get you into trouble.
Give space for breathing.
Be independent.
Value other,s priorities.
Always be happy..it's your responsibility.
'A person who values you, wouldn't ever put themselves in a position to lose you.'
"When he/she is really interested in you he/she will find some time to meet you"
There are several that I have ... some of these are advice rom friends and some are my own advice.
1. Don't make anyone a priority in your life if they only consider you an option in theirs.
2. Don't let a failed relationship change who you are - chances are, they are the ones who have changed, not you.
3. If a cherished relationship fails, reach out to your good and loyal friends for support. You might not feel like doing it, but do it anyway.
4. It's better to communicate problems and set boundaries in a relationship, and stick to those boundaries, because boundaries help build trust rather than show your partner or friend that you lack it.
5. When the door to one cherished relationship slams shut, worry not, because God will open the foor to another (and better) one!
Oh my gosh, these typos!!
DOOR, not foor!
@AbbyHarris1976 i feel you but my escuse is sausage fingers😂😉
You have to love yourself before you can love anyone else. That it's not easy, but it's not fixing someone else. It's not 50/50, it's 100/100 because you shouldn't be halves, but each of you, whole. It's compromise, compassion, communication and commitment. Love isnt effortless, it's in spite of. Its a choice to love someone, through the good and bad. If there is too much bad, doesn't mean that you don't or cant love them, but also that you don't necessarily have to stay together. You just might not be meant to be together. Even though it's through the good and bad, it shouldn't have to be forced.

Some of the most beautiful lines I've read, dear.

Thank you. My grandmother has been telling me this for years. I'm finally at the age to appreciate, understand and respect her wisdom as such, instead of "preaching or nagging".
