That communication has to be 2 way, relationship will fall apart if only one person does the talking, and I have tried to get him to talk to a 3rd party, but insist that nothing is wrong with him, I guess it means it's my fault! NOT!
That if you ever have a problem, you have to communicate things out! Because if you don't, it'll only become a harder problem to fix in the end.
To just be myself. ❤️
@imontheoutside That's so true! I believe that it is important to find someone who loves you for you <3
@SilentSerenityy Never base your happiness on someone, when they leave they will take your happiness with.
@softFlute92
Oh this is definitely something I learnt the hard way! Making sure you gain happiness outside of the relationship is very important.
Great advice! @softFlute92
Don't mold yourself to accommodate that person .. be yourself. Co-dependence is a killer and narcississts love the co-dependent ones!
@SilentSerenityy
Never abandon yourself and your needs to support your partner. If you do it, the relationship will slowly become unhealthy as you will stop haing a balanced view over it. There are three perspectives in a relationship. Your own, your partners and the relationship itself!
Communication is essential. Having the same interests help a lot too.
People say do not expect anything. I have learnt through life lessons that no expectations means noo attachment. I find it very hard to not expect.
I've learned to love myself and be myself first. I learned the only way to truly love is to be completely vulnerable in opening up myself to things I've buried. I've learned to be kind to my lover and appreciate them. I've learned to set boundaries EARLY into the relationship and know what I want/don't want in one. I've learned its NOT WORTH seeking affection/approval from someone who doesn't give it unconditionally.
Do not let anyone have power over you. Let it go as soon as you feel powerless. Do not accept to be manipulated and blamed by someone. A relationship if for two people once someone start blaming and making you feel guilty and remorseful its not worth it
@SilentSerenityy don't forget to show yourself some love too. Choose the right person! By being with someone that respects you and treats you right, you are respecting yoruself and giving yourself what you deserve.
