Moving past
I've been broken up with my ex now since Christmas 2018. However I still can't shake him from my mind.
Our break up was sudden for me, in the end we were in a rough patch as he was dealing with his own demons such as problems with addiction and mental health. I was there for him however in the end I let myself care more for taking care of him and let myself go downhill and got into a dark place. I think the break up was needed even though it was something I never wanted.
I am writing here for help, I have give myself time to grieve the relationship, try to date other people and kept myself occupied with friends and family. I have been doing all the "right" things to get over a relationship however whenever I see or hear of him the pain I feel is unbearable. The tears come and my anexity peaks. I am not sure what else I should be doing to help myself move on. Please help.

Hey! Thanks for writing no matter how long after you break up with someone it is hard to deal with that as they were a special part of your life. What comes to mind when you think of him? I guess when you go through a breakup you might notice signs of the relationship leading to a breakup but you mentioned it was sudden so that is hard to deal with. Sounds like you were with in during a difficult time and showed you care by supporting him. I guess in someway you also felt that it affected you. How else do you think this breakup has affected you?
I see that you have tried a lot of things to help yourself and hope to find something that could help more. Sounds like you also deal with worries and feel anxious right? Those memorises would make it hard for you.

When you see this quote what comes to mind?
