Signs of a Healthy Relationship
I've started this topic for a therapist who was having trouble posting to the general forums. I can edit it as needed for them.
Humour!! The ability to laugh ;) Support whenever things get hard, attentiveness. Understanding and trust. And a lot of compassion. Oh, and the ability to take responsibility for mistakes. If you can give each other those things in any relationship you are doing well.
I said something similar in the 'unconditional love' thread but I think a healthy relationship it when you can know they support you whatever happens and that they want to help you become a better person and you want the same for them. It means you can talk to each other about your problems and open up about your more ugly flaws because you know they love you for who you are. It's equal and not just one person using the other for support, you both are helping each other.
Also even if though you can seriously talk to one another, you can still joke and laugh with them all the same.
Discuss nicely after fighting for something...
Patience even at your most stressful, recognising what is your problem and your driver and not projecting your feelings onto the other, compromise, love and humour. If you really love somebody you show it, say it and you cant possibly feel good about hurting them. These things help make a good relationship.
Honesty, respect ,compassion, trust ,individuality while also being in union , freedom to be who you are ~love
when the girl isnt a cheating degenerate whore but thats rare in 2017
When feelings turn into relationship and being revealed, released, embodied thus.
When both partners can communicate their needs clearly in a respectful, calm manner and feel safe to explain how they feel/think about something.
When you two respect each other.
Of course you two might have different views on certain things, but you don't have to accept their views - more like, accept the fact that they have those views and respect that.
Both are honest and caring torwards each other. Yes there is some arguments, but you make up for it by apologizing at sorting out better solutions when getting mad at each other. Your partner/friend listens to your conversations & guides you through your problems. They give you alone time when you need it. They stick up for you in public if someone/stranger is being rude to you. They worry for you & love you!
