Advice for his birthday
To keep a long story as short as possible - a guy I’ve been friends with for five years, briefly dated and then had five months no contact with recently came back into my life. We decided we still want to be friends. His birthday is very soon, so with friends in mind I decided to get a card but no present. I’m known for writing sweet messages in cards, but since our relationship status changed and we are still settling into the new boundaries of being friends I am at a loss for what to write in it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
if i were u id just tell them just “happy birthday” to make it seem just casual and polite
As I’m known for sweet passages in cards, I’m worried something that simple could come across as rude 😶
