An Internet friend want to help me with my therapy.

He's a boy of Australia. I met him when he talked to me about a YouTube channel, "Do you wanna work with me? You will translate the videos and give your voice, you will be the Spanish side of the channel".

Since that moment we are friends.

Some days ago I told him I want to start therapy again, but I don't have money, so I will go to the hospital. He said something like "What about giving you money? You will use that for your therapy? I can help you, 200 Argentinian pesos are like 30 Australian dollars, just make a PayPal account".

I don't know, I would accept his help, but I'm not sure. What do you think about it?

I know he's your friend but this seems allittle shady to me I'd watch out and make sure you can totally trust him

Our friendship is new, that's the problem. Or the guy is too good human, or what.

I will wait some months and I will see if this thingis secure.

Some questions to consider:

If he's being shady, in what ways could this go wrong?

If he's being honest, how will accepting money from him make you feel? Will it change your relationship? Will it make you feel obligated to do things for him? Would you be paying him back at some point or is this a gift? Would you accept money from a real life friend if they could easily afford it? Can he easily afford it?

Do you think I have to take with him very well?

Not at all. You don't 'have' to do anything.
