Finally made new friends but because they are "guys," I may have to ditch our great friendship.

I tried to find a listener but unfortunate.

I've moved a bunch over the past 5 years and I've lost friends. Now back in my home country, I finally made 2 new friends but they are guys and I hate how that matters. Both are awesome people, around my age and chill. Though parents found out and overreacted, as if I was born yesterday.

In no position to be in a relationship but cannot even make that clear to them. Tbh, I don't even consider trying to make things clear because they are stubborn and don't trust me for some reason. Don't know what to do, I see my friends tomorrow. Don't want to ditch our growing friendship but don't want to be in this situation ever again. Help. 🥀
