Interacting online is always leading me to nothing, fast
What annoys me most is that it never gets past computers and texting being the main way of touch. Eventually what touch there is winds up lost. Because it's too easy to lose touch. Doesn't matter what kind of website I set up an account on. No one on here lives anywhere close to me so is there any real chance of a face-to-face meetup? I have every reason to just stop trying to socialize online forever, as it is always leading me to nothing, and fast.
@ramSpiral2500 I think you can run into "friends for a season" anywhere, not just online. Sometimes people go out as quickly as they came in. It can be discouraging, I agree with you. Noticing it is a pattern is a start; maybe there is some way to create a longer lasting friendship, whether online or in person. Difficult to say without knowing more details. But all experiences are opportunities for learning, if they are allowed to be - that's what I think, at least. I wish you more luck on this front and hope you'll find what you're looking for!
@CompassionateGirl90 Honestly the context I once had to find and build anything promising proceeded to fall apart as soon as I finished high school in 2011. For me what is devastating is that I have noticed this pattern but any effort to change it..I may as well be throwing things at a brick wall
