Internet Friends
Sometimes, we get so close to people we meet on internet that we click so well and become friends. Internet friends basically implies to those friends you made on internet.

Do you have any internet friends?
If yes, how is your relationship with them?
What do you think are some benefits of having internet friends?
What could be some of the hinderance you might face while being internet friends?
Will love to hear your thoughts on it.
I have 2 really close internet friends. One of them I met on Facebook, we were fans of the same Korean Music Groups. We're like sisters almost. She's from South Africa. I even mailed her things once too. It took a couple months, but at least she received them. She tried mailing me something too, but I never received it. Since she's a few years older, I ask her for advice for certain things too. We thought about meeting each other one day. She's still interested in Korea Music, so we said once I start my career and saved enough, we'd go watch a concert in South Korea together and just vacation there.
Another friend, I actually met in a chat group. We clicked, and stayed in contact on personal accounts. This kid is more than 10 years younger than I. But, all's good. He's a smart kid, so it's fun chatting with him. It was also a chat group talking about Korean Music. It's nice though, he knows a bit of Korean, so we sometimes send each other Korean words of encouragement. (I'm not Korean, but I took some languages classes). I think he might be a bit bipolar, so I try to talk to him whenever he reaches out. At least we're from the same country. It's just I'm on the West Coast and he's on the East Coast. But there was this once, where he got really manic. I felt so helpless though. All I could do with keep messaging him and chatting with him until he fell asleep. He's about 5 hrs ahead, he caught me just as I was about to sleep. We ended up talking for nearly 2 hours, and I finally convinced him to try and get some sleep, as the sun would be rising where he is. But, I really wished there was more I could do. I tried to get him to check into the Emergency or call someone to drive him. But he didn't want to and said all his friends are asleep by then. I wish there was a way for me to call for help for him somehow though!~

In my 7 years of life with internet, never have i come across someone who shares a twin mind of mine unlike this girl i met accidentally on 7 cups. Its just been 2 months since we met but feels like we've known each other since generations. Young, mighty and being savage are her signature moves xD.
She has seen the best of me, also the worst of me. But yet, she chose to stay. Heyyy you!!!! I want you to know that no matter what happens, i'll be theeereeeee for youuuuuuu!

@Pureriver55 I have quite a few online friends, there used to be much more when I was more of an active fangirl, but now that the band (Big Time Rush) is on hiatus, I kinda thought I'd stop making any new online friends, but I still managed to make friends with a few recently. Funny thing I'm actually closer to online friends than friends irl, maybe I just feel safer telling them things and talking about certain topics. A good and bad thing is the time differences, sometimes it's great cos if you're awake in the middle of the night, they might be awake, but if you need someone to talk to in the morning/early afternoon, they might be in bed. But overall, I really love having online friends that I feel comfortable with, and I wish that someday I'll get to meet them irl :)
