Is this abuse or am I too sensitive?

One of my closest friends treated me like I was nothing. Ignoring me for days on purpose while she was active on social media or even talking with my best friend. Didn't replying when I shared my good news but noticing me the quickest if she needed me to promote her. Said she will call and she never, even told me that I was forgetting her? I asked her many times if she had a problem with me, she was always denying saying it was because of work, I apologized even if I knew she was lying. I started to find new friends on twitter, she came too and acted like she supported me a lot, including herself too much in my conversation with people on public but still avoiding me in private. I stopped to run after her but she felt it and used nice words and said she was not feeling great those days so I stayed because I didn't want to hurt her by leaving her even if she broke my self esteem.

After a few monthes I said I didn't want to be friend anymore saying politely the reasons, her attitude totally changed, she was attacking and flooding me saying I invented everything, played victim and tried to make me feel guilty.

I don't know if this is abuse because she was not controlling like other toxic friendships but she really broke me with gaslighting, ghosting, faking being nice, mind games to make me feel crazy etc. Because of this, today I have anxiety attacks, i lost weight, can stay in bed for days, my mom cries a lot because she is afraid...

There is an other part

Hey there, hopefully you are doing well. There's a few things I would like to point out;

One of my closest friends treated me like I was nothing. Ignoring me for days on purpose while she was active on social media or even talking with my best friend. (This definetly does show she is not treating you like a priority. What caught my attention was "treated me like I was nothing", that statement has to do with more than what happened with your friend) Didn't replying when I shared my good news but noticing me the quickest if she needed me to promote her. (This can be quite hurtful to experience. She is coming across as someone who is self-absorbed, and only wants to be in contact when she feels anxious or needs something.) Said she will call and she never, (This kind of behavior kills trust in a person. Her words and actions don't match with one another, so this will make you feel like its hard to trust her word) even told me that I was forgetting her? (You tried talking to her, she has ignored your messages and now she believes you are forgetting her...She is turning the table around, and putting you in a lose-lose situation. The moment you don't do what she wants is where she will talk about these things) I asked her many times if she had a problem with me, she was always denying saying it was because of work, (Now she is using lies to avoid the subject and out of fear of being in trouble. This is not the kind of friends worth keeping because they are hard to trust and selfish) I apologized even if I knew she was lying. (I understand why you would do this, but you are enabling her behavior by doing this and taking the responsability away from her) I started to find new friends on twitter, she came too and acted like she supported me a lot, (The moment you are after her is where she tends to ignore, but soon as your life becomes better than her or you not investing in her is where she begins showing you support. She is very inconsistent, and will only want to be around you when she is anxious or needs something) including herself too much in my conversation with people on public (This tells me she feels alone, and is trying to gain the attention/validation from others by inserting herself. She is pretty much using those people to soothe her feelings) but still avoiding me in private. I stopped to run after her but she felt it and used nice words and said she was not feeling great those days (You are seeing a pattern here. You two become close, she pulls away. You become distant, and she goes after you. It's best to not be around people like her because they will trigger your past hurt and wounds) so I stayed because I didn't want to hurt her by leaving her even if she broke my self esteem.

After a few monthes I said I didn't want to be friend anymore saying politely the reasons, (You did great in telling her this) her attitude totally changed, she was attacking and flooding me saying I invented everything, played victim and tried to make me feel guilty.(She is being manipulative, and trying to distort your reality by saying "you invented everything". She is not behaving like an adult here, and you don't deserve to be around this kind of behavior. She can't communicate like an adult either)

I don't know if this is abuse because she was not controlling like other toxic friendships but she really broke me with gaslighting, ghosting, faking being nice, mind games to make me feel crazy etc. (She was manipulative, selfish, immature and other things) Because of this, today I have anxiety attacks, i lost weight, can stay in bed for days, my mom cries a lot because she is afraid...(it's understandable how hurt you feel. It's incredibly painful to be around people who are inconsistent and manipulative. It's going to take some time to heal from this, but just know how you felt is normal about her behavior)
