What makes it harder for you to make new friends?

I'm afraid to trust people and that people will harm me in some way.

Finding it hard to open up to people in real life,having pretty high standards as to what real friendship is,looking for qualities like loyalty,intelligence,maturity,respect,support which seem not so easy to find nowadays.Having been betrayed before does not make things any easier.

I'm boring, awkward and too shy

Honestly? Other people make it hard for me to make friends. I can be kind and open and friendly all I want but it doesn't stop people from being snobbish a-holes.
