Abandonment

Well she finally did it. She went all silent, and said she didn't want negativity anymore. Last September 05, I asked her how long do I have to wait since I didn't agree to the whole LDR situation. She got mad and she always does when I pester her with questions about our relationship. On that same day, me and my family fought because I had enough of all the suppression.

So a 2 weeks passed, and I reached out to my family and we fixed things but they stated for the last 3 years, the one-sided relationship is getting to me and I changed for the worst. I have anxiety attacks and I'm seriously depressed. I'm on my way to start therapy this Tuesday with their support.

I want to write this because I haven't been feeling myself. I know I should let her go and I'm starting to but it's just so difficult like there's a withdrawal feeling..

no one deserves to go through this, my dysregulated nervous system needs to be fixed. I just don't know what to do.

@Janseena1

I am sorry you are feeling hurt from a person who just disappeared and quit contact. This is a common item in many LDR.

I am glad you were able to connect back with family and maybe you can accept that if a relationship changed you and not in a good way.  sometimes things like that are hard to hear but something we may NEED to hear.   The feeling of confusion and withdrawal is natural.   I think we miss more the picture in our head of what could have been not what the relationship really was especially if it was one sided.
