At my wits end.

I want to preface things by saying that I love my fiancé with all my heart. When I look at her I envision my future with her. When she’s at her best, she’s amazing. We’ve been together for 3 years and engaged for almost 1 now.

Lately though, her trust issues are pushing me to my limit. I’ve been sympathetic to the fact she’s been hurt in the past. I support her in her mental health journey the best I can. It’s become almost daily that she is going through my phone or computer looking for some sort of “proof” that I’m cheating on her. Her most recent stunt with this though was attempting a loyalty check on me by texting me from a texting app.

I just don’t know how much more of this I can take. I love her, if I break up with her I know it’s going to set me back in my own mental health journey. At the same time though, I can feel myself being broken down with each and every accusation. I just don’t know if I can handle being under a microscope constantly. Changing passcodes and passwords would result in an argument, I gave a compromise of keeping my phone location on so she can see where I'm at anytime she likes…I just don’t know what to do…any advice would be appreciated.

@l33twookiee,

that's unbearable and drains you mentally.  She needs to get help to work on her trust issues. If not, you have to choose between being your life totally controlled by her issues or lead your own life, as you should be able to.

@l33twookiee

I think like the other poster said it is her issue. it will not end giving in to all her insecurities.  It will not end going to the point of text apps and having location on you are your her partner or her prisoner.

Does she not think enough of herself that she must be your warden.   it only makes her look bad not you.  Phones are for communication not GPS.  Stand up and IF she cannot trust and she cannot be a partner maybe you should evaluate where this goes.
