Hi! I honestly just want to hear about how you guys were able to move on form a long term relationship (no kids not married). It's so hard for me. It's getting worse by the day. I know I can move forward from this but it's just so hard. I dreamt of him last night. It's like implying that I wouldn't be enough. I seldom dream of him. My goodness.ssope you can give a gal an advice. Thank you.

It is a Big change ... this person was a big part of your life.

Lots of theory on dreams but in my experience it is often just dealing with things on a sub conscience level.  Moving on is a big deal there will be days / times when you think of times when things were different that is ok. Length of relationships make for more memories.   Do not forget instead embrace this person was with you i am sure many changes and growth.

I am thankful for past friendships etc and such as I learned a lot from people and even if those ended on less then great terms.

Hi, I hope you're doing ok. I recently tried breaking up or not getting along with someone, also been through some break ups before. I know somewhat what this feels like. I honestly feel that every break up or end of something is a lesson and can teach us about ourselves. I have been in situations that were not right for me and I had to initiate the break up at the time. It was a hard at first but it then became a process where I learned more about myself. I know it's hard to let go of someone and it also might depend on how you decided to end the situation amicably. It can feel very sad and depressing to feel that something didn't work out and ended with someone. I don't have a lot of advice but think that you will definitely grow as a person as it will force you to leave your comfort zone of something that felt like a safe space, stability or routine and part of your life. I know for sure this is not an easy thing to do. But it will force you to define goals for yourself. This doesn't mean going and looking for someone else especially if it was a long term situation, but understanding what your priorities are and interests. This should also be a part of you whether in a relationship or not and it will make you who you are. Also know we are not defined by our relationships. The most important person is yourself; this might sound selfish.  I know this might be a difficult time, but I wish you the best in discovering yourself, your goals and priorities now.  You are not alone, there are still people who love you and who make up your life outside of this person.  Please embrace everything you have at your disposal.  Make your life what you want it to be for yourself.  Do not lose hope.  I hope this is helpful to you
